thanks for photographing these old buildings that may soon be gone... it's good to have a record of what things were once like in downtown.

If I remember correctly, that is the oldest stretch of paved sidewalk in Champaign... and limestone at that! (from the fire hydrant North to the first lamppost)

Mike - Yes I believe that's correct, there's a plaque on the ground by the lamppost, next time I'll take a photo.
