These lightning shots are awesome. How do you go about trying to capture them? I've always wanted to try.

Thanks Brent.

First off, please respect lightning and be safe. I took this photo inside a parking garage, and the previous photo "Lightning" I was inside my car.

For the camera, helps to have a lot of space on your memory card as I end up taking many shots.

For daytime lightning I try to find a spot in the storm that is producing a lot of cloud to ground strikes, aim, and fire away.

At night I use a tripod and set the exposure to 10 seconds or more.

Lot of storms this time of year, good luck.
