Great photo. Too bad I can't say the same for the building. At least the arch students have an excuse when their work isn't great. Look at the inspiration. (Note: I'm an arch alum)
First of all i like the pic, I like most of your pics, makes you look at buildings in a different way. But I like this building, it flows real nice, except for the structure to the left which stops the flow. why dont you like it? ( I'm not a arch alum)
For one it's horribly designed from a technical point of view; the offices behind that curtain glass wall become ovens in the afternoon, the studios on the other side become ovens in the morning. Bricks are coming out in some spots, paint is peeling, and the aluminum is beginning to rust.
Not to mention the HVAC system is a nightmare, and had to be totally revamped a year after the building opened, and there isn't NEARLY enough space inside for studios for the STUDENTS of the college.
The auditorium is always cold.
